Appeal for Courage.

This statement is a Protected Communication to Congress in support of our missions in Iraq and Afghanistan. It can only be signed by currently serving Active Duty, Reserve, or National Guard military personnel. It is authorized by DoD Directive 7050.6


The undersigned military service personnel hereby express their heartfelt appreciation for your honor, integrity, and political courage in support of victory in Iraq. You have supported our mission to bring democracy to Iraq when it was politically unpopular and the path was difficult. Your perseverance in the face of adversity has dealt a serious blow to Al-Qaeda and the ideology behind the 9/11 attacks while setting the course of freedom for millions in the Middle East. Your commitment continues the finest traditions of our country’s greatest leaders who have fought for freedom from America to Europe, to Asia and now to the Middle East. You have earned the respect and gratitude of us all.
